The Blue Devil has been on the Top 100 Romance Bestsellers list on Amazon United Kingdom for over a month now. It’s currently Number 15 on their Historical Romance Bestsellers list–which places The Blue Devil above a volume of the complete works of Jane Austen on the lists. Melynda doesn’t know whether to feel indignant for Jane or giddy for herself. “My comfort,” she says, “is that my novels’ current popularity will inevitably subside, whereas Jane’s has endured for two hundred years.”

Announcing: The Immortal Passion Series
February 1st, 2012
Some Fae live in the forest and some in the earth, sea, or air…but others enjoy masquerading as mortal men and women. Sometimes, we catch on–and fall in love. The first novel in the series is due out in April, 2012. His To Command is a Regency-set historical romance. Melynda has looked forward to writing these stories for a long time, and she hopes you enjoy the first one as much as she’s enjoying writing it.
New Covers
January 15th, 2012
For a time, Melynda worried that her readers didn’t recognize her first four books as a connected series and wondered if their covers should look more alike. New, more “matchy” covers were tested–until Melynda realized she could trust her readers’ intelligence; they’re finding out all on their own that the four books are a connected series without the covers looking alike. “Besides,” she says, “the stories are so loosely connected that they really can be enjoyed out-of-sequence or all by themselves. It just makes sense to go with the covers that seem to fit the stories the best.” And so, here are the four covers of Melynda Beth Andrews’ Regency Matchmaker Series, all in a row:
